Festival Headliner Venue

The Abbey Tavern is a world famous 16h century tavern with it's own purpose built venue
and will host some of the headline ticketed shows for 2026

The Harbour Bar Howth

The Harbour Bar is the oldest pub
in the village. It's run by friendly local businessman Daragh Heagney and well-known for its excellent pints and a cozy beer garden with a stage.

O'Connells

O'Connells is widely known as having the best chicken wings in Dublin so settle down with a pint of beer and some wings at their outdoor seating area facing The East Pier Stage which is right outside the door...

McNeills

McNeills of Howth is run by the Olin family who have a great tradition
of running music pubs. Hidden down the back is a great little venue with a big stage where some great nights have been had down the years.

Serving delicious food all day
with spectacular views,
The Summit Inn is worth a visit.
It has ample parking or you can get the bus to the front door.

The Bloody Stream

and parties but it also boasts
a very cool purpose built outdoor stage named after local legend Phil Lynott. you can step off
the DART straight into the venue.

Findlaters

The crowd that go there are always up for a party so expect dancing and singing.

Coastal Foraging and Howth Fishermans folklore walk
with Nicole from @HowthForaging_nicole

This immersive experience promises an inspiring blend of learning, nature and coastal storytelling

Led by Nicole, this guided walk along the beach and Howth Harbour invites you to explore the rich natural bounty of Ireland’s coastline. You’ll discover edible coastal plants, learning how to identify both native and non-native species, and uncover their culinary and medicinal uses.

Drawing on traditional knowledge, the walk delves into age-old coastal wisdom: how fishermen and sailors once used plants to prevent scurvy, sustain themselves through harsh winters, and read the skies and weather patterns long before modern forecasts existed.

Along the way you’ll encounter the local seals and wildlife that call the harbour home. After the walk, take time to browse the pier, where you can purchase fresh fish and seafood and bring your foraged finds home to create a truly seasonal, coastal meal

What to bring:

  • Warm clothing and waterproof footwear
  • A bottle of water
  • A small backpack
  • Scissors (optional, for foraging)
